Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy explains how the Yalla Sinai app and website handle your data. In short: neither has accounts, forms or sign-in, there are no ads, analytics or tracking, and the only data the app handles is a device notification ID, created on every install so our team can send notifications, including news and offers.
Who we are
Supportefy, LLC runs the Yalla Sinai app and website and is responsible for the data described in this policy (the data controller). You can reach us on WhatsApp at +20 100 420 7202 or by email at info@supportefy.com.
The app
The Yalla Sinai app has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no advertising ID and no tracking, and it never asks for your name, phone number or email. Apart from permission to show notifications, it asks for no permissions on your device, such as location, camera or contacts.
Notifications
On every install, whether or not you allow notifications, the app registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service that gives your app installation a device notification ID (a Firebase installation ID and a push token). The ID is used only to deliver our team's notifications, including news and offers. For that, the app subscribes it to topics: all users, your app language and your phone's platform (on our team's own phones also a team test topic). No name, phone number or email is linked to it, our team cannot see individual IDs, and we never sell it, share it with advertisers or use it to track you. Google runs Firebase Cloud Messaging for us as our service provider, under Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The app reaches it over an encrypted connection, and this data may be processed outside Egypt. If you do not allow notifications, or switch them off in your phone's settings, your phone simply does not show them, and the ID stays until you uninstall the app.
News and offers
Our notifications include news and offers from Dahab, sent by our team. The app has its own switch for them, Settings > News and offers, which is on by default. Turning it off takes your ID out of the all users, language and platform topics at once, so you get no more news and offers. Turning it on again adds it back.
Settings on your phone
The app saves seven settings on your phone only: your language, light or dark theme, whether you have seen the welcome screen, whether the app has already asked about notifications, your News and offers choice, and two hidden team options that only our team uses (whether team options are unlocked and whether team notifications are on). They are never sent to us. If you use Android backup, they may be included in your own device backup, so your choices come back after a reinstall or on a new phone. Clearing the app's data removes them.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes the notification ID from your phone. Firebase Cloud Messaging then stops delivering to it and retires it, and a new install gets a new, unrelated ID. We keep no copy: the app has no server of its own and our team cannot see individual IDs, so there is nothing else to delete. You can also ask us at any time what we hold about you, such as a WhatsApp conversation, or ask us to delete it, on WhatsApp at +20 100 420 7202 or by email at info@supportefy.com.
The website
The website has no accounts or forms, uses no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and loads no fonts or scripts from other companies. If you pick a language, your browser remembers it in its local storage so the page opens in your language next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Server logs
Like every website, ours is run by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs of each page request: IP address, time and the page requested. They are used only to keep the site secure and working, are kept for a limited time and are never used to build profiles.
WhatsApp and Telegram
The buttons for listing your business and contacting us open WhatsApp, and some links may open Telegram. Those apps work under their own privacy policies. If you send us a message there, it reaches the Yalla Sinai team's number with your phone number or username, and we use it only to answer you. We never sell it or use it for advertising, and we delete the conversation if you ask.
Children
The Yalla Sinai app is made for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the app adds features that need personal data, such as accounts, bookings or payments, we will update this policy before those features go live, and the app will show you the change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
